Overview:
We have an exciting Sales
and Estimating opportunity with great earnings potential
for a reliable, detail-oriented,
results driven Residential Painting Estimator.
The Residential Estimator
responds to pre-qualified prospective customers who have contacted Pro-Spec Residential
Painting Services for premium quality professional painting and decorating
services.
Our Residential Painting Estimator will perform a site survey of the proposed work,
completes a quantity take-off of the work, and a manual or computerized
estimate along with a high impact presentation proposal.
In addition to Painting Services, our Estimators
also offer a wide range of specialty
applications and decorative finishes, and inform our customers of
the procedures for proper paint preparation, the advantages of premium
materials used by Pro-Spec ensuring the highest quality work with extended
service life cycles and also offer lifetime warranties backed by Pro-Spec in
partnership with our National Paint Manufactures.
A customized sell
proposal is prepared by the Estimator designed to educate the client about
their project. As a Pro-Spec Professional, you will convey the Pro-Spec
"Best Quality Standards" and the value of the “Pro-Spec Difference” paint
job and most important, you will have the complete confidence and backing of
the entire Pro-Spec organization the delivers on our high-quality customer
service and professionalism every time.
Primary Responsibilities

Respond to
customer service calls promptly and establish a meeting convenient to
the prospective client.
- Conduct a site
survey of conditions and perform a quantity take off of the work to be
performed.

Provide
consulting services to client and design a cost proposal that achieves
high value and offers an extended service life suitable to the client.

Prepare onsite
proposal for immediate sell, or prepare computer generated estimates and
proposal utilizing computer estimating software submission at a
follow-up meeting with the client.

Maintain
Customer Relations through final completion and follow-up with customer
to obtain Customer Satisfaction Report Card.
Skills and Experience Sought:

Two years
painting or paint related sales and estimating experience

Strong
communication skills, verbal and written
-
Strong sales and
closure ability
-
Knowledge of
Residential Repainting Techniques, Paint Materials, Surface Preparation,
Labor Productivity and Application Methods

Basic Computer
Skills, Microsoft Office, Internet, Email will train computer estimating
-
Goal oriented
and seeks to excel in quantity, and quality of sales estimates and
awards
