Overview:
The Qwest Convention
Center is the Midwest's premier meeting venue. A 17,000 seat arena is
attached to the facility, enhancing the meeting and entertainment
opportunities. The Qwest Convention Center will be connected via a skywalk
to a 450 room Hilton Hotel, scheduled to open in early 2004. The facility is
located 2.5 miles from the airport, within walking distance to downtown
hotels and Omaha's "Old Market Shopping and Entertainment District". With
194,000 square feet of exhibition space, 16 meeting rooms and a 30,000
square foot Grand Ballroom capable of accommodating over 2,200 banquet
guests. |
