Pro-Spec Difference
|
Our Company has grown from a small local Painting Contractor into a Firm that is
involved with some of the largest and most prestigious Construction Projects in the
Nation. Each year we have been effective at meeting our goals. These
successes are part of a long term business plan and it's what has made us the strong
business organization that constitutes Pro-Spec as we know it today.
It is this foundation, our business principles and a unique idea
that enables us to continue to grow and expand. Our goal at Pro-Spec Painting is to
become a leading National Painting Company that offers excellent career opportunities and
maintains the reputation second to none.
The idea is what we call the "Pro-Spec Difference" and it has resulted in our ability
to compete in geographic regions of the country far remote from our home office in
Vineland, NJ.
The "Pro-Spec Difference" is based on advanced
computer wide-area networking systems. Our Job Sites and all of our Managers are networked
to the companies accounting, job costing, estimating, project administration, and project
management systems. Our networking systems have helped us evolve into a highly
efficient organization. We believe that our prospects for continued growth and
expansion will continue far beyond the reach of regional painting companies.

Digester Tank Repair
Completion
Pro-Spec Painting was called on to provide a unique mix of services for the
rehabilitation of Digester Tank # 10. The work included the Removal and Installation
of a new Digester Roof, Structural Steel Repairs, Lead Paint Abatement and Abrasive Blast
Preparation of the Structural Steel and Roof Deck, and Application of a Polibrid, a Plural
Component Tank Lining Applied at 80 mils.
The contract required Pro-Spec to engineer a system to remove fourteen (14) ballast
weights from the upper shell of the tank. This was necessary in order to perform
repairs and coatings application. The real clincher was that the tank roof could not
be removed, and the ballast blocks could not be attached to the structure to facilitate
removal. Each ballast was approximately the same weight as a car.
